Inter High School recognizes that as an internet school the pastoral system to support pupils will be different.
To enable informal communication between pupils, chat rooms will be set up for year groups so that pupils may support each other in terms of help with work ideas or social discussions. These rooms will be monitored by staff of Inter High School to ensure correct usage and access will be restricted.
Parents / guardians have an important role in pupil support because pupils will be working on line from home. A supervised chat room will be available to parents / guardians so that they too can communicate informally with each other.
Weekly grades will be awarded to pupils and term reports to parents so any fall off in pupil performance will be visible and issues can be addressed.

Any concerns regarding academic / social issues can be addressed directly to the principal of Inter High School who has responsibility to take action.
